The Heavy Duty Forged Steel Roller is a large-diameter load-bearing cylinder built for the punishing conditions found inside paper making machines, calenders, and steel processing lines. Instead of a welded pipe body, this roller starts life as a solid forged alloy steel billet that is rough-machined, heat-treated, and precision-ground to final size. The forged grain structure eliminates internal porosity and gives the roller the strength to carry extremely high nip loads without deflection. With an 800 mm working diameter and a hardened chrome surface, it is the ideal choice when a production line must run heavier grades, wider webs, and higher throughput than standard rollers can support.
